Description:

Miranda has made a promise to herself: Tonight will be different. Tonight she will finish painting the portrait of the woman she hates, but does not understand--her mother. The portrait may have other ideas, but it doesn’t matter; Miranda will finish it tonight. Even if it kills her.

Company:

Ted Brengle (Chicago, IL)

Ted Brengle was a semi-finalist for the National Playwrights Conference in 2008. His play "Alone Together" has been produced in Cincinnati, Columbus, Ohio, and New York City. In 2010, his play "Absent Friends" was produced in Columbia, Missouri, and his plays "Alone Apart" and "Alone At Last" were workshopped at the Element New Plays Festival in Chicago. His play "Of Apocalypse and Cappuccino" was adapted into an independent short film in 2006, so he also (bafflingly) somehow has an IMDB entry. He lives in Chicago.
